What we collect

When you order. Your name, email, phone number, shipping address and the contents of your order. We need all of it to ship you a parcel and to email you about it.

When you pay. Nothing. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers and we never see them. We receive a confirmation, an amount, and the last four digits.

When you browse. Standard server logs, and — if you have not blocked them — advertising pixels from Meta and TikTok that tell those platforms an anonymous visitor viewed a product, added to cart, or bought. We use these to measure whether ads work. You can block them with any content blocker, and the store works fine without them.

When you subscribe. Your email address, and nothing else.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your address with anyone except the supplier and carrier who have to deliver the parcel.

Who else touches your data

• Stripe — payment processing
• Vercel — hosting and server logs
• Our fulfilment supplier and the carrier — name, address, phone, order contents
• Klaviyo — email marketing, only if you subscribed
• Meta and TikTok — advertising measurement, only if you have not blocked their pixels

How long we keep it

Order records for 7 years, because tax law says so. Email subscriptions until you unsubscribe. Server logs for 30 days.

Your rights

Email support@squill.co and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We will do it within 30 days. If you are in California or the EU/UK, the same address is where you exercise your CCPA/GDPR rights — you do not need a special form.

Unsubscribe links are in the footer of every marketing email and they work immediately.

Cookies

We set one cookie-equivalent of our own: your cart, stored in your browser's local storage under squill.cart.v1. It never leaves your device until you check out. Clearing your browser data clears your cart.

Children

The store is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this page changes materially we will note it here with a new date at the top.
